Admission Information            

(i) The Institute offers Post-graduate Diploma Course, post H.S.C. Diploma courses as well as short term Certificate Courses. Eligibility requirements for certificate courses vary and are specified in course brochures. The medium of instruction is English and candidates seeking admission are expected to have adequate knowledge of the language.

(ii) For all post-graduate courses, candidates who are graduates of other universities are required to produce a provisional statement of eligibility issued by the Registrar, University of Mumbai, declaring them eligible for admission to the course. Similarly, for post HSC courses, candidates who have passed an examination equivalent to the HSC examination conducted by Maharashtra Board are required to produce eligibility certificates issued by the Registrar, University of Mumbai declaring them to admission to the course.

(iii) Fees will be accepted from such candidates only after a provisional statement of eligibility is produced.

 

Admission Procedure

(i) Before the start of an academic session or a course, press advertisements are issued inviting applications for admission. Applications must be made in the prescribed form available at the Institute office. The application for admission is considered when it is complete and all relevant papers are submitted in time with fees. Candidates have to enclose only attested copies of certificates with the application form.

(ii) The admission procedure requires the candidates to present himself / herself for a written test and/or personal interview as may be stipulated from time to time.

(iii) The Institute sets up an Admission Committee to devise the admission procedure, screen applications and finalise the selection of candidates. The committee decides on the nature
