The MA Credit Based (Economics) class of 2008-09 has initiated its placement process. The students will be graduating by May, 2009. The newly autonomous Department of Economics is gearing up for this event. About 30 students have registered for the placement this year.

Placement Process
If you are looking for post graduates in Economics -- as researchers, analysts, modelers, business planners, consultants or teachers -- we invite you to join our placement process and visit our campus for holding interviews. To be a part of our placement process, you just need to contact the student or faculty coordinator. You need to supply us with the details of your company, the job profile and the approximate pay package. 

To view the resumes of the students registered for placement for 2009, please click on the link provided on the right hand side top corner.  

You could use this data to shortlist the candidates for your company, or you might want to make the list after giving the PPT; the placement cell is flexible to all modes of selection. The interviews are usually held on the campus. Once the final list of selected candidates is made, the placement cell needs to be informed. The list will be made available to the students by the placement cell. The offer letters also should be routed through the placement cell.  

Placement Schedule 
The placement fortnight begins from the second week of January, 2009. It would be advisable to contact us at least a week before. The student coordinators will help you to finalize the date and time of your visit.
