The Institute was co-founded by the Mr. Dineshbhai Mody in loving memory of his beloved son Late Shri Alkeshbhai D. Mody, who was a dynamic stockbroker and noble soul. The Institute was established in 1994, as a Department of the University of Mumbai, offering management education with a focus of financial services.
The Institute was set up in response to growing and acute need felt by Indian managers and investors to deal with rapidly changing business and financial environment. The courses started at the outset were a Diploma in Investment Studies and the Masters in Financial Services and Management program, which was exclusively offered by ADMI for more than half a decade.
ADMI established in 1994 extended it's financial management programs to the prestigious Masters in Management Studies Program for the first time in 2002-2003 to live up to the increasing demand for Management professionals.
The logo of the Institute bears its VISION, ERUDITION, FAITH AND CHARACTER which negates INJUSTICE (ANANYA), IMMORTALITY (ANNETI) AND GREED (PARIGRAHA) in every domain of life. These values are universally and eternally relevant. We are on the journey to new frontiers, a discovery of new horizons, where science and spirituality make their tryst with destiny.
